Why Thursday sucked.

So, imagine you have to do something you really don't want to do. You keep putting it off and pushing it further and further until you decide it will be too late soon, and you have to suck it up and do it. You keep imagining it going terribly, but your friends and family encourage you and tell you that you should do it anyway. You tell yourself that every time you've dreaded something like this, it has gone better than you hoped and you will be able to walk away from this with your head held high. Thinking about it logically, there really should be no reason as to why it should go wrong. So one day, you decide that today is the day and you do it.
And it goes horribly wrong.
The worst possible scenario that has been bouncing around in your head for weeks, months even, has played out right in front of you. Now, not only have you completely embarrassed yourself, but you still did not complete the task you set out to do, and you are further back than you were before. Not to mention that this is something that will heavily affect your future, and it is something that your friends accomplished rather easily. Plus, it still doesn't make sense to you as to why it went so wrong, and now you are really angry with someone you once admired.
It is one of the worst feelings in the world.
